28mm Roads

I completed a set of 28mm roads today.  They are made from roof shingles, a method I read about on the Architects of War website.  They may not be perfect, but I think they will serve well enough.  I tried to make enough to fit most any layout,  though they are simple enough to make should I require more roads.  I only used a fraction of the package of shingle material I purchased at Lowes.

Here is shot of one of the roads with a Foundry viking.  The hedges are another work in progress.  I've used heavy duty metal scouring pads that I found in the paint section at Walmart.  The hedges aren't terrible, but they still need a little work.

I have a few other terrain bits in the works, including some rough stone walls.  Hopefully, they will be completed soon.

Werewolf

I recently finished painting this werewolf, from Reaper, for service in both Chaos in Carpathia, and Strange Aeons. It's a nice sculpt, and was easy to paint. Now to get back to some 15mm sci fi....

Nightgaunt

This is a RAFM Nightgaunt painted up for use in Strange Aeons. I've only had a couple games of Strange Aeons so far, but I'm really digging it. It is a great way to get my Call of Cthulhu fix and my miniature gaming fix at the same time. I decided to try a gunmetal blue for this guy, and I don't think it looks too bad.
Another quick post tonight. I got in late from a Alice Cooper/Rob Zombie concert, and my ears are ringing like crazy. Not my usual sort of music, but the show was a blast. Lots of props, costumes, and flame jets. And a trailer for Werewolf Women of the SS.

Cultist

I thought I would make a quick post to get things rolling. This is a cultist from Artizan Designs, recently painted for use in Strange Aeons. After uploading the picture, I realized that the figure had bits of static grass stuck to him. This should act as a reminder for me to ensure the figure is free of debris prior to sealing.
