I love
Army Painter Quickshade. I had not painted miniatures in years when I bought this stuff. I hadn't gotten tired of the effort required for me to turn out even half decent figures, and had turned to using all
pre-painted figures for my gaming needs. After moving to Knoxville, I heard of this dipping technique, and investigated further. In my
internet searches, I turned up references to this particular product. I found a local hobby store that carried it, and picked up a couple of cans. The price was a bit steep, but I decided to take a chance.
And I love the stuff.
I am able to turn out miniatures with an acceptable paint job far faster than I ever did before. Now, I should say that I cannot compare the stuff to using the regular stain that many use for dipping. I have only used the Army Painter stuff, but I like it well enough that I'm hesitant to switch to anything else.
