Cultist

I thought I would make a quick post to get things rolling. This is a cultist from Artizan Designs, recently painted for use in Strange Aeons. After uploading the picture, I realized that the figure had bits of static grass stuck to him. This should act as a reminder for me to ensure the figure is free of debris prior to sealing.

That's the great thing about high-res photography, as you can easily see every single flaw that you normally would never have noticed. I don't know how many times I spend a lot of time painting things up nicely, taking and editing nice pictures and publishing them to the world to see, only to then notice the static grass stuck all over the legs!

Kudos on that eyeball under the hood, nice work. Also, the arcane symbols in the book are pretty cool...

@ Gyro - Thanks, I wasn't too sure about how the eyes would look. This figure was kind of a test run for the rest of the cult forces waiting to be painted.

@ Duck Sauce - Yeah, it was my first time using a new camera, and I was amazed at unforgiving results.

I wouldn't worry about it-- even at the high res, I had to hunt for the grass. ;-) And I have posted much, much worse. If it's not something you can't see without magnifying it 20x, just ignore it, I say.
